Tasar silkworm rearing

Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao are the two districts ideal place for Oak tasar culture in the state. People are being motivated to utilize the vast field of nature grown Oak plants by rearing of Antheraea proylei which cross breed variety between A. roylie and A. perinyi.

Tasar silkworm Antheraea mylitta D is a polyphagous insect which are reared outdoors.
